We’ve all worked very hard for Polish models to wear U.S. bikinis and should take a day off to celebrate that.

It may be Labor Day in U.S. America, but tournament poker NEVER takes a day off.*

:: Season XII of the World Poker Tour kicked off with the Legends at the Bike. A large (re-entry) field of 716 began, and they just hit the money with 71 remaining. Lily Kiletto, a woman (267,000), Faraz Jaka (236,000), and Joe Serock (98,000) also remain. Ashton Holmes, an actor who played Sid Phillips in The Pacific (U-S-Fucking-A) min-cashed for $3,525. First takes home $613,355. Get full chip counts here.

:: A total of 51 entered the €50,000 EPT Barcelona Super High Roller event. Vitaly Lunkin defeated Erik Seidel heads-up for the title. Lunkin earned €771,300 for the win. Seidel, who isn’t necessarily mouth-fucking the tournament world like he did in 2011 but ain’t doing too shabby either, takes home €557,100. Steve O’Dwyer finished third for €355,100. Get full payouts here.

:: On that note, the 2013 EPT Barcelona kicked off with an impressive 518 Day 1A entrants. Dragan Kostic** led the day as big stack. Get a fuller but not much fuller recap here.
