Not much of a surprise here.
US American Carter Phillips went into the final table of the EPT Barcelona with a commanding chip lead and walked away with the title and its €850,000 prize. Phillips, who hails from Charlotte, NC so he probably is big into NASCAR and worked at a bank sometime in his life, is just 20-years-old.
Before it seems like we actually care anymore than what we’ve written so far here’s how the final table ended:
1 – Carter Phillips, USA €850,000
2 – Marc Goodwin, UK €530,000
3 – Santiago Terrazas, Spain €300,000
4 – Mihai Manole, Romania €250,000
5 – Asa Smith, UK €200,000
6 – Toni Ojala, Finland €160,000
7 – Matt Lapossie, Canada €120,000
8 – Georgios Kapalas, Greece €80,000
Next up on the European Poker Tour is the EPT London, Oct. 2-7.
