The Partouche Poker Tour Main Event wrapped this weekend, but you might’ve missed the story about who won it.
First, there was that little thing called the 2010 WSOP Main Event final table going on. Then, the side-story of the final table involving Ali Tekintamgac‘s disqualification for using fake bloggers to get opponent hole card information proved to be an attention grabber. So getting slightly overlooked was the fact that Vanessa Selbst, a woman who likes women, won the event, banking about €1.3M and becoming the first ever player to capture the elusive Double Arc-en-CielTM (winning a NAPT and Partouche Main Event in the same year).
The win pushes Selbst career earnings over $3.8M.
For more about the event, go nowhere. Nobody else seems to really be covering it.
