Weekend Tournament Round-Up: Hinkle Leads WPT; Cada in Contention in San Remo

A lot of action on the tournament circuit this weekend. Here’s a quick recap of what’s going on…

:: WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown – Day 5 began with Blair Hinkle as chip leader. He’s since slipped down to third overall, stacked at 1,480,000. Hinkle trails Taylor Von Kriegenbergh (2,225,000) and Tommy Vedes (1,500,000). As of around noon PT on Sunday, 11 remain. Among them include Abbey Daniels, a woman (1,040,000), James Mackey, a ginger (870,000), Bruce Snell, a man lobbying to be v.2012 Dwyte Pilgrim (700,000), and Anonymously Good All-Star Curt Kohlberg (390,000). :: EPT San Remo – At the end of Day 4, 24 remain. Nicholas Yunis is the chip leader, stacked at 2,281,000. Joe Cada is making his first serious noise in a major event since his WSOP Main Event win, as he’s fifth overall with 1,619,000. Get full chip counts here.
