Will Failla Wins HPT’s 100th Event

You may not be able to tell from the photo, but this guy's nickname is "the thrill."

Ok, we’re way behind on the news. Time to catch up. We’ll file this one under “Week in Review.”

Despite Federated Sports+Gaming/Epic doing everything they can to run their business into the ground, the Heartland Poker Tour managed to hold a successful 100th event at the River City Casino in St. Louis.

A total of 328 entered the event, including Phil Hellmuth, Allen “Chainsaw” Kessler, Chris Moneymaker, and Greg Raymer.

When the proverbial dust settled, Will Failla walked away with the title and $119,064.

The HPT win caps off a year run for Failla. He becomes the first legit “pro” to win a HPT event, and the win pushes his career tourney earnings to over $3M.

There’s no way this guy isn’t the biggest douchebag in all of poker. Five minutes at the table with this moron is enough to provoke anyone to justifiable homicide.

Enjoy your rungood, jackass, before you go back to your pizza kitchen in brooklyn in two years to live out your craptastic existence.
