The 2014 Aussie Millions $100,000 Challenge drew a ridiculous 76 entries. This was math math math 54 more than last year, which accounts for approximately 4970% year-over-year growth. Don’t even get us started on the EBITDA, man.
As expected, the final table was stacked with many of poker’s biggest names. These are the types of final tables that gets the poker community exciting. Big name after big name. Look to your left, oh hey there, you big name. Look to your right, yep, another big’un. Old school big names. New school big names. Tall big names. Short big names (but not short OF big names).
This final table is a Roman orgy of big poker names. Even Phil Hellmuth couldn’t drop all the names at this final table, that’s how many big names there are.
And who was the name pro who took down the 2014 Aussie Millions $100k Challenge? None other than [……….].
[……….] defeated Mike McDonald (who black people love) heads-up for the title and $2M AUD.
The aforementioned McDonald banked $1.5M AUD for second.
Erik Seidel finished third for just over a milli. Patrik Antonius was fifth ($700,000) and after firing off five bullets, Daniel Negreanu broke even with a sixth for $550,000.
See how all of the other names did here.
