WPT LA Poker Classic Ends Up With Friends and Family Final Table

Not sure how this happened with all of the big names and all of the women remaining when they were down to 72 players, but the WPT LA Poker Classic ended up with a major friends and family final tableTM.

Andrew Koroknai will enter final table play as the chip leader with 4,995,000. The Hungarian has just over $11,000 in career tourney earnings.

He’s followed by Raymond Dolan with 3,300,000. Raymond has just over $12,000 in career tournament earnings.

Not that this makes them bad people, it just makes us not care.

The most accomplished player at the final table is Michael Kamran, but he’s short-stacked with 680,000. Kamran has had a very Eric Buchman-esque career so far, being anonymously good enough to grind out just shy of $1M in earnings over the past couple of years.

Final table play begins at 4pm PST. Follow the action here.

* Editor’s Note: The above video has absolutely nothing to do with poker and everything to do with seeing a guy’s arm get broken. Felt like this post needed some kind of a jolt though. Watch at your own discretion.

Ahh that sucks balls. Heading into day 5 I had heard of 6 out the 22 remaining players. I at least hoped one or two of these guys would make the final table to give even a glimmer of hope that it may be an interesting table to follow… Now I really couldn’t care less what the results are.
