Good news! Update: Chanel No. Any advice?
Victoria, I remember your mentioning once that you work a certain perfume when you wanted to stay especially focused on your work. It seems youthful to me but,still, sophisticated. I need to do some sort of aldehydes de-sensitization program so that I can enjoy some of the fragrances I already love even more. 22 will always be special to me, since its the first real perfume I ever wore. I have tried Chanel boutiques with some luck. Here's our privacy policy, and a handy emoticon chart. I never tried that. I also have the perfume, and it is divine. Would people within arms length still be able to smell it? I always thought the EDT was beautiful but too sweet and a little thin. Or Im yours. I kind of like aldehydes I don't tend to seek them out, but they're never a problem for me so I began to enjoy the phase where the aldehydes melt into the heart florals, getting sweeter and warmer every minute. Right now, I am sampling Chanel No. Replies to my comments For me it is a very close take on the vintage formulations of Quelques Fleurs, However it is much more intense, and aldehydic. I adore 22 and your thoughtful review, which so astutely covers that starchy (aldehydic) quality that rather closely mimics iris to my nose. This seems to be true of all decanters. I prefer what I remember to be the parfum.. as I find the EDT somewhat thin. If you dont count my grandmothers crushed velvet bedspread or the beaded doorway of the bedroom of the prostitute who lived across the street, my life at age fifteen was largely devoid of glamour. It is still my favorite Chanel. Available from Chanel boutiques. Beautiful review. I want more because it is running out and cannot find it anywhere. Just wondering. The inside of my wrists and behind my ears were well moisturized that year.

I dont really smell the vanilla in the dry down at all, and the jasmine, ylang ylang, and tuberose are blended so that none of them stands out from the others. The thought of seeing the Eiffel Tower in person (heck, even seeing Sacramento in person) was dizzying. No 22 uses it too, and you get this note in the drydown. I would also recommend confirming this before placing an order (assuming youre uncertain about what you are getting). 22 forward. I couldn't wait, I wanted to try this one but I live in germany and here it is nearly impossible to get No. I know I have a few Chanel samples, but I don't even think I have a bottle of anything Chanel these days. I have a couple of questions. 22 and have a huge nostalgic attachment to it, I actually like some of the men's Chanels better than the women's!

Really, considering how large the bottle is, the price isn't so bad. 22 however is one that I can comment on to some degree, it having been my first Chanel as a young university student in 1977, yes far past its original issue date but still long ago . I used to love the fact that Chanel had an extensive ancillary collection for their classical scents, but this does not seem to be quite the case these days. And it is awfully true that the fruity, lightweight and characterless pink scents tend to be very popular here. Perfume for Life: How Long Will Your Fragrance Collection Last? No kidding! The powdery aspect is so perfectly balanced against the aldehydes and flowers. 22 was sold in drugstores, along with Nos. I checked the Perfumed Court as well. Sadly, I couldnt track down the bath oil at all. I was not prepared to fallso hard for Vol De Nuit followed by Apres Londee and Eau De Liu. Warm Scented Regards I was just learning about perfume, and Id saved enough from babysitting to buy a bottle of Babe, but I scouted the mall for something more sophisticated, something people who had passports and ate caviar might wear. The only big perfume stores here are Douglas, Mller and Essenza Nobile and they don't carry it.
I believe they followed through but it is a mystery that nothing has come in the mail. The parfum stays closer to the skin, creating a soft, intimate effect that I prefer to that of the sharper, brighter EDT. I love your view of the world. The sight of the photo of the white pearl is os poignant ..it almost hurts.
